The doors of Quahog, Rhode Island are now open for players around the world who wish to experience the joys of Family Guy Online. However, to ensure the safety of all the virtual Quahogians, not all players will be allowed in at once.

The Keys to Quahog are now being handed out by publishers Fox for their free-to-play online game, Family Guy Online. That means the doors are open and the shops of Quahog open for business as waves of players will be able to log in and experience Family Guy like never before in the coming days.

What do these Keys mean? Well, Family Guy Online is indeed in the Open Beta, but they want to prevent a massive influx of players that will trample one another like Black Friday at WalMart. Therefore, when you register, you will receive a "key" which will allow you to log in at a certain time and date.

Access is on a first-come, first-serve basis, meaning the players who have already registered for Family Guy Online are higher up on the list, while the players registering after this announcement may have to wait to receive their key – However, once new players register, they will receive an estimate on the amount of time they will have to wait to receive a key.
